Summer Camp 2018

Monday – Friday:

9:00 am-4:00 pm

(Before 7:00 am or after 4:00 pm is $20.00 per child or $40.00 for both. Must be purchase at the time of registration) 

Our summer camp offers a cost-efficient camping experience with activities that implements various cultural components. Fundamentals of African oral literature can be understood through dancing, arts & crafts, folklore and singing.

We provide a warm and cheerful space for children to make new friends, embrace diversity, gain leadership skills, learn respect and understand social issues. 

We provide free breakfast between 7:00am to 10:00am. 

Early bird special: Register before June 1st to receive 14% off per child.

March Break Camp

We hope the knowledge your child received during black history month will fuel their pride on their identity.

For a memorable day, we have created fun-filled interactive activities that involves singing and dancing to the beats of the drums, learning new skills, and making new friends.

Drumming Class

The art of drumming is as old as time. The djembe is one of West Africa's best known instruments. We offer group classes for children and adults. 

 

 

African Dance Class

An easy way to keep fit. You will be having so much fun that you won't even realize how hard you are working. We have classes for children aged 5-13 years old and adults classes as well. Send us a quick message to find out more. 

 

Family Walk Day

Saturdays 4-6 PM

 

What a better way to spend time together with your love ones. Join us every Saturday as we walk around some trails in Scarborough. A great way to revitalize the body and have great conversation.  Free for all members and their families.
