African Drumming and Dance

Experience the raw sound, rich traditions, and vibrant energy of African drumming, dance, and songs.

About Our Programs

Africentric Arts brings communities together through highly interactive, hands-on cultural experiences through music. Led by elite teaching artists and performers, our programs draw deeply from African and African diaspora traditions.

While we celebrate the diverse musical practices across various African countries, our experience is centered around the West African Djembe drum alongside an array of traditional percussion instruments. Mirroring the core values of African community life, our workshops weave together storytelling, celebration, and communication.
