Africentric Arts, in partnership with Afro Caribbean Indigenous Food Bank, provides food hampers and essential supplies for families in Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, and Parkland County who may need extra support.
This outreach helps families access support with dignity while strengthening care and connection across the Tri-Region.

Africentric Fashion and Talent Show
Africentric Arts brings fashion, performance, and community together in a celebration of culture and creativity.The event gives young people, artists, designers, and performers a stage to share their work, express themselves, and connect with the community.

Candlelight Stories is a free Black History Month celebration in Spruce Grove that brings the Tri-Community together through performance, food, music, dance, and youth-led storytelling.
At the heart of the event are young people sharing stories of Black Canadian history, resilience, and achievement. The celebration creates a warm space to honour Black stories, celebrate creativity, and bring the community together.

The Black History Proclamation Ceremony supports the public recognition of Black History Month through municipal proclamation.
Held in council with community members present, the ceremony creates a meaningful public moment to honour Black history, recognize local presence, and celebrate the contributions of Black Canadians.
